Hi Everyone! So one my favorite store bought confections is Little Debbie Cosmic brownies. So you know I had to figure out how to make them homemade. If you have never seen cosmic brownies before, they are a chewy/fudge brownie with a chocolate ganache topping and sprinkled with colored, candy coated chocolate chips. They are incredible and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to make a homemade version. So here it goes, Homemade Little Debbie, Cosmic Brownies. So let’s get started.

Perhaps one of the most distinct things about Little Debbie,Cosmic Brownies are the rainbow chocolate chips on top.  I have seen variations of these brownies, homemade with other kinds of sprinkles but I really wanted these to be as true to the real thing as possible.  It took some digging but I did find these on amazon and I have linked them below if you would like to check them out for yourself.

Best Practice for Homemade Little Debbie, Cosmic Brownies

If you can stand it, these brownies should really be left in the fridge for another 24 hours.  The texture really changes to match the texture of a Cosmic Brownie if they are chilled.  They get denser and chewier.

Storing Left Over Cosmic Brownies

Normally, brownies can be left at room temperature in an airtight container but because of the ganache which has cream, these must be stored in the fridge. They will stay good for up to a week.

I hope you all enjoy this recipe.  If you have any questions feel free to reach out on my Facebook,Twitter,or instagram or check out my YouTube Channel.
