My quest for easy christmas dessert recipes continues with these Christmas Tree Brownies with hazelnuts.  This was just my basic fudge brownie recipe with added chopped, toasted hazelnuts.

Easy Christmas Dessert Recipes : Christmas Tree Brownies : The Process

This recipe is a little bit like my cosmic brownies or halloween brownies in that it’s a chewy fudge brownie with a frosting on top but these are not just a typical square brownie.  They are cut into triangles and decorated to look like christmas trees.

Typically, when making brownies, a huge tip that I would give is to make sure you don’t over mix the batter when the eggs go in so you get that shiny and papery top but where we are topping these with frosting anyway, it isn’t as necessary.  Really, this step is just for esthetic purposes anyway so it isn’t crucial.

Easy Christmas Dessert Recipes : Christmas Tree Brownies : Decoration

The decoration of these brownies too make them look like christmas trees is really up to you.  I used these little colored sprinkles that are filled with chocolate.  But I’ll give you some examples.

I hope you all enjoyed this recipe and I hope you all have an amazing holiday!  Follow this blog to make more messes with me and follow me on InstagramFacebook ,  Twitter and Snapchat this holiday season for everything I am up to and I’ll see you all next time. Bye Guys
